Radial Velocities of Population II Binary Stars. Ii. Here we publish the second list of radial velocities for 91 Hipparcosstars, mostly high transverse velocity binaries without previous radialvelocity measurements. The measurements of radial velocities are donewith a CORAVEL-type radial velocity spectrometer with an accuracy betterthan 1 km/s. We also present the information on eight new radialvelocity variables -- HD 29696, HD 117466 AB, BD +28 4035 AB, BD +302129 A, BD +39 1828 AB, BD +69 230 A, BD +82 565 A and TYC 2267-1300-1-- found from our measurements. Two stars (HD 27961 AB and HD 75632 AB)are suspected as possible radial velocity variables.
| Photoelectric observations of lunar occultations. XIII Occultation observations made with the 0.76 m reflector at McDonaldObservatory are presented, for 319 events occurring between Jan. 15,1981 and Feb. 7, 1982. One table reports timings, and a second recordsobservations of 16 double stars, in particular, Nu Gem observationsreveal that the two close components are similar in color. This allowsan estimation of individual visible magnitudes (near 4.60 and 5.32)suggesting that the secondary is a late B-type main-sequence star. SAO158929 observations reveal systematic differences in angular diametervalues. Of the 16 observed double stars, 9 appear to be new discoveries, including SAO 93067, SAO 94595, and SAO 98770. A third table gives fullydarkened angular diameters for the stars SAO 158929, SAO 77516 Y Tau,and SAO 119035 Nu Vir.
| Lunar occultation summary. III Observations of 242 photoelectric lunar occultation events studied atErwin W. Fick Observatory are reported. Approximately one-fourth ofthese are reappearances. From each observation are estimated the minimummagnitude differences between the observed object and possibleundetected companions. Occultation observations are given of 23 starsbrighter than 6th mag, including Alpha Vir, Beta-1 Sco, Mu Gem, Xi-2Sgr, Zeta Tau, Lambda Gem, and Beta Cap.
