Polarization of the light of the stars in the association MON R1 New observations of polarization of the light of the stars in thereflection nebula association Mon R1 are given. Of 17 stars investigatedin the B photometric system, nine are cores of reflection nebulas. Thestar VY Mon is found to have a large polarization. The manner in whichthe polarization of the stars and the structure of the nebulas arerelated to the magnetic field of the cloud in which they are situated isdiscussed.
